Bulk FTP Delivery

Drop leads onto a buyer's server, no email inbox involved

Bulk FTP delivery packages matching leads into a CSV file and pushes it directly to a buyer's FTP server on an hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly schedule. It solves the same "I want a batch, not a live feed" problem as bulk email, but for buyers who ingest data by pulling files from a server rather than reading email - typically larger buyers with automated import jobs on their end, or volumes too large to attach comfortably to a message.

Connecting to the server

Enter the buyer's FTP server address and credentials, choose active or passive mode, and select the port to connect on. Once that's set, the campaign delivers CSV files on the schedule you configure without any further manual steps.

Building the file

• Custom file names - generate a distinct name for each CSV delivered to the FTP server.
• Field mapping - control the CSV header row, such as renaming "FirstName" to "First_Name".
• System columns - optionally include Lead Capsule's Lead ID, Create Date, or Vendor ID alongside the lead data.

Setting the batch frequency

Files can go out once or on a recurring hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly schedule, set independently per campaign - so each buyer's FTP delivery can run on the cadence their import process expects.

Delivery controls

• Delivery caps - cap total leads per file for prepaid orders, or apply hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly caps.
• Exclusivity - control how long a lead stays exclusive to a buyer before resale.
• Advanced filtering - include only leads matching a buyer's field criteria, such as birth year or state.
• Scheduling - time deliveries to match when a buyer's import job actually runs.
• Lead verification - validate leads before they're bundled into the file.
• Prepaid campaigns - require funding through the Client Portal, or payment on the buyer's behalf, before a file is delivered.

Confirming delivery

Lead Capsule can notify you by email or API when a file is accepted by the FTP campaign, and it can receive notifications back from a buyer's system when leads in that file are accepted, rejected, or returned.
